A private board for your neighborhood, without the strangers.
Lost pets, borrowed ladders, a free bike for the kid down the street, and honest talk about the speed bumps. Just your neighbors, with no ads and no outside moderators deciding what you can say.

The things a neighborhood actually needs
Lost and found
Missing dog, found keys, a package at the wrong door. Posted to the people who can actually help.
Swap board
For sale, free, and wanted posts that expire on their own. Pick-up is a walk away, and you know who you're meeting.
Fair claim queue
Curbside giveaways go to whoever got in line first. If they don't show, the next neighbor is notified automatically.
Announcements
Trash schedule changes, street closures, HOA meetings, and block parties, pinned where everyone sees them.
Real discussion
Speed bumps, the new development, the board's budget. Say what you think; we won't step in.
Safety check
Wildfire, earthquake, flood: alert every neighbor at once, and see who has marked themselves safe and who needs help.
Welcome new neighbors
Print an invite flyer with a QR code for the welcome packet or the mailbox bulletin board. Outsiders can't search for your group; the only way in is an invite from you.
Why buy a ladder you'll use twice a year?
Neighbors list what they're happy to lend. Everyone else borrows it.
List it once
Ladder, pressure washer, tile saw, camping tent. It stays on the shelf until you take it down.
Approve requests
A neighbor asks, you approve with a return date. You always decide who borrows.
Reminders go out
The borrower gets a reminder before it's due. Nobody has to send the awkward text.
Your group starts with these boards
New neighbors need approval to join, unless you turn it off.

Disagree with your neighbors out loud.
Neighborhood apps are notorious for deleting posts about local politics, zoning, crime, and the HOA board. We don't.
Frendivo doesn't have moderators of its own reviewing your neighborhood, and we never remove a post for its opinion. The people running your group moderate it. If you think they're doing it badly, start your own group in a minute. We'll never stop you.
Questions neighbors ask
How is this different from Nextdoor?
Nextdoor groups you by address, shows ads, and enforces its own content rules across every neighborhood. A Frendivo group is invite-only, ad-free, and moderated only by the people who run it. It also has a lending shelf and a fair claim queue for free items built in.
Can residents criticize the HOA board?
Frendivo never removes posts for their opinions, including criticism of an HOA. If the board runs the group, the board moderates it, the same as any group. And residents are always free to start their own independent group. Nobody can stop them.
How do we keep strangers out?
New members join with your invite link, and you can require approval for every request. If a link gets shared too widely, rotate it with one click and the old one stops working.
How does the lending shelf work?
The lending shelf is coming soon. Neighbors will list things they're happy to lend, like ladders, tools, and folding tables; a borrower sends a request, the owner approves it with a return date, and reminder emails go out automatically. Until then, use the Swap & Lend board.
What does it cost?
Up to 10 members is free. Larger plans are $10 a month for 11 to 50 members, $20 for 51 to 100, and $50 for 101 or more, paid by the organizer. Members never pay.
